Description
This 18th century fishing böd was the birthplace of Arthur Anderson, co-founder of the P&O shipping company. Two rooms have been restored to how they looked 200 years ago.
New for 2009, the building also houses the Shetland Textile Working Museum collection, specialising in the beautiful textiles that have become synonymous with the Shetland name.
Open Tues - Sat: 10.00-13.00 and 14.00-17.00 throughout the summer. Entry is free, donations welcome.
